Marc Howze is Group President, Lifecycle Solutions and Chief Administrative Officer at John Deere, a position he assumed in June 2020. In this role, Marc leads a team focused on the integration of aftermarket and product support capabilities, focusing on the full ownership experience over the life of Deere products. Additionally, as CAO, he is responsible for key administrative activities of the company, including human resources and labor relations, employee health and safety, facilities management and security, aviation, supply management and logistics, brand management and communications, and corporate citizenship and the John Deere Foundation.

Marc brings more than 35 years of wide-ranging operations and functional experience to his current position. Prior to assuming his current role, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer. His previous leadership assignments include Corporate Secretary and Associate General Counsel; Factory Manager, John Deere Turf Care; Global Director, Cotton Harvesting Product Line; and Vice President, Global Human Resources. Under Marc’s leadership, the company has been recognized as one of Interbrand’s top global brands, Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work, Fast Company’s Most Innovative Workplaces, and one of the American Innovation Index’s Most Innovative Firms. A native of Detroit, Michigan, Marc earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, a juris doctorate from the University of Michigan Law School, and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
